Weird whine, I think its coming from the water pump hitting something. Anyone know any answers? My last water pump, the car made a screeching sound when the car turned on and then it would stop. MY mechanic latter said it was the water pump hitting something so on the new one he put 2 washer to move the water pump a little higher. Maybe its that, maybe he over torqued things when he installed the parts. Things done to the car before this sound 1: Act 2600 Xtreme with a Street light flywheel 2:New water pump 3: New lower rad hose 4: Complete OEM Timing belt kit 5: Oil change done to a 5-30w mix Royal Purple 6: Clutch fork 7: 680 PTE injectors
